Dr. Jerry L. Carew, DC
Dr. Carter J. Carew, DC
Dr. Carter Carew, D.C. is originally from Tiffin, IA. He studied at Kirkwood Community College and The University of Iowa majoring in Health and Human Physiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. This is where he developed his true passion for human performance and wellness. Between his undergraduate studies, being an avid wrestler growing up traveling around the country for competition, and having received chiropractic care all throughout his upbringing, he knew a career helping people be able to perform at their optimal level and live an overall healthier and active lifestyle was the career for him. With that in mind, he enrolled into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. During his time at Palmer, he devoted his time to various chiropractic technique clubs, extra training in Flexion Distraction, soft tissue techniques and rehabilitation, as well as working as a Teaching Assistant in the Physical Diagnosis and Radiology Department. Graduating from Palmer in June of 2021, he practiced in the West Des Moines area for two years before ultimately coming back to his hometown to join the family business and practice with his uncle.
In his free time Dr. Carter enjoys playing sand volleyball, slow-pitch softball, hunting, traveling, going out to eat, and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Carter looks forward to caring for families and individuals that want to take their health to the next level!
